Ensure that the temperature during the sticking of the printed floor sticker is between 10 and a maximum of 32°C. Apply the floor foil only to dry, clean and grease-free surfaces. Are you sticking the floor sticker outside? Then choose the right material (see above) and ensure that the edges lie on tiles as much as possible. Additionally, try to avoid joints, as this promotes the lifespan of the sticker.
What is the lifespan?
Printed floor stickers have (depending on usage) an expected lifespan of approximately 3 months.
Which material or sticker is suitable for which surface?
The floor stickers for indoor use are suitable for flat, smooth surfaces such as tiles. If you have any doubts about the adhesion, you can consider the Roughmark; it offers higher initial adhesion than other foils. Floor stickers for outdoor use are applicable to bricks, asphalt and concrete.
How do you prevent bubbles when sticking?
Ensure that the surface is clean and grease-free. If the adhesive layer is suitable for wet application, wet both the surface and the adhesive layer and position the floor foil. Secure the foil and slowly and evenly squeegee the moisture out from under the sticker. If wet sticking is not possible, position the sticker at the top and work evenly downwards. Work carefully, because with dry sticking it is more difficult to reposition the floor sticker or remove air bubbles.
